Tell us about your Disney history, Keith...
My Disney family tree dates back to 1955. My mom and her brother were taken to Disneyland the year it opened, and they loved it so much they were taken almost every subsequent summer. Once they grew up and had their respective families, they each took their kids (my mom had two and my uncle had four) to Disneyland every year since we were born. As us kids got older Disney began to wear off for half of us. It stuck to me and two of my cousins like honey, however. Because of this, I have been to:
Disneyland every year since birth
I run one Disney race per year, usually in the fall. My other hobbies include writing, playing sports, going to the gym, reading, traveling to non-Disney places (gasp), and watching movies.
TDP's Mission
The Disney Project will focus on providing accurate information about the many different facets of the Disney company, with a solid emphasis on Walt Disney himself. As a lifelong fan and current Walt Disney Family Museum volunteer, it is my pleasure to share the genius of Walt Disney with anyone interested.
And as a fan and frequent parks visitor, I hope you enjoy the occasional trip report thrown in as well. Comments/suggestions for The Disney Project are always welcome.
Accuracy is Paramount
If at any time you spot a factual error, please send me an email: questions (at) thedisneyproject dotcom. If you have a source to cite, even better!
Thanks, and I hope you enjoy The Disney Project.
